Neurodiversity

This is an umbrella term for conditions such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia and tourettes.
Through my 15 years’ experience teaching and living with a partner with ADHD I decided to focus my studies on this and create some resources to support staff in an educational setting facing challenging behaviours and give them some understanding so that the teacher and student can work
more collaboratively.
I have spoken to people in the teaching industry, family members of individuals with neurodiversity and got feedback from health professionals before releasing this programme.
I am not a GP, I am not health professional but I know the impact a poor educational environment can have on a young person with neurodiversity. This can then negatively impact the family and can cause lifelong issues.
Generations have changed but the education system struggles to keep up.
Please contact me if you feel your education facility would like to receive this training and let’s make small steps together to make big changes to make education invaluable for all.
